When starting my truck it cranks excessively before finally starting. This problem came on all of the sudden after washing the underbody. It has been well over a month since the problem started,so there is nothing that hasn't dried out. Any suggestios would help.

try to see if there are any codes stored in the computer. I think they will check it for free at AutoZone if you don't have one of those cheap OBD2 readers that just plugs in under your dash for about $79, every tool box should have one if you have a 96 or newer .

ihave the same problom try replacing the fuel pump
