2005 3.4l "Fluid Flowing Noise"jmedlin6 05-11-2006, 09:03 AM Ok I am not sure if this is normal or not. I just bought an 05 impala (3.4L) a few weeks ago. I didn't really take notice to the noise when I was test driving the car. It seems like when I press the accelerator slowly it sounds like I can hear fuel being pushed through the line. The noise seems to be coming from the passenger side of the engine compartment. I am assuming that that the line runs on that side of the vehicle. I saw a service bulletin stating that w/ the 3.4l that the fuel line is noisy and makes a whistling noise. tractorboy 05-11-2006, 03:50 PM You saw the service bulletin ? if it's covered under the warranty , I would get er fixed. jmedlin6 05-11-2006, 10:24 PM I am wondering if it is something w/ the engines. My parents impala (same year make and model) does the same thing. So does my buddy's camaro w/ the 3.4l engine. Odd. jdr1965 05-21-2006, 08:31 PM My 05 with 64K has done it since it was new..3.4 engine... wrparks 05-23-2006, 03:25 PM I've seen quite a few GM vehicles that make that kind of sound from time to time. Is it constant? On dad's old truck it was water/coolant moving in and out of the heater core or some such thing. micali 06-03-2006, 10:40 AM what's the bulletin? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
