2002 Civic Si, Veloz

Hello,

I just bought a 2002 Civic Si, Veloz with 47,000km on it.

Anything I should watch out for?

Seems like a very nice car. The body is good, the clutch is good (5speed) the inside is maintained. Everything seems fine?

Any known problems with these cars?

Canada? Civic Ex here in the states. Great car owned one for 2 years not one problem with it. If you are in the tuner market this would not be the car of choice. Otherwise great milage and reliability. Goodluck with it!

i'm not into tuning the car...the skirt (stock) and the alloy rims (stock) and tints (stock) vtec engine (stock) and everything else stock is good enough for me.

but why do you say that its not good for tuning? I see mostly civics tuned..
cause its so cheap.

7th gen civics are the first ones to use direct ignition (no distributor) and they use macpherson struts instead of fully independent suspension at front. It is really hard to play with engine management with direct ignition. Also the suspension parts became more expansive. So it became harder for an average Joe like me with limited budget to play with the car.
