My car doors automatically lock when I shut them when engine is running. Is it possible to change that mode?,cuz it locks on me if I get out of the car while it is running. thanx

Nissan's do not have that feature you must have an after market alarm installed that is locking the doors for you , most after market alarms can be programed not to lock the doors , but not by the dealer by the company that installed the after market alarm..gl :)

my J-30 HAS JUST STARTED to do this,

The first time I thought somehow i hit door locked when i got out of the car.

But then one day i had to run home and my son got out of the car, and I was waiting on him he shut his door and the door lock,.

I would so love to know how to make it NOT do this.

I had same problem, You need to take the door panel off and there is a grey plug towards the bottom and that will do it.

disconnect battery and then reset fob system.
