Alignment problem with BAD Frame?bobby11 05-09-2006, 12:01 PM Hi all, Lately I am having some pull on my car on and I thought of going for alignment. The honest mechanic told me that alignment on rear wheels is way too out (Left Rear: camber 0.8, should range from -1.5 to 0.1) . (Right Rear: Camber -1.7, should range from -1.5 to 0.1). The mechanic did not charge me anything and informed me that most probably it will be bend frame. My car is having salvage title, so I guess there might be frame problem. Does anyone have suggestions if this might be different issue? Can anyone suggest good body shop ( I mean franchised ones). Roughly how much should I expect to pay to repair the frame? Last week I went to Walmart for tire rotation and rebalance. Is it possible that mechanic over there might have damaged the frame while lifting the car? Thanks to all in advance. RIP 05-09-2006, 12:28 PM Not sure if this applies to Camrys but, in many cases there are kits available to allow you to adjust camber, caster, toe-in on a car that has no adjustment for it or adjust it beyond the limit provided. You'd have to do some research. Walmart bend the frame? Maybe if they dropped it off the lift but, you'd see other damage too. Tough to proove. I think your salvage title speaks a thousand words. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
