Hey, i was wondering about getting this "chip", but i now undersatnd its some kind of a resistor that goes into the iat sensor or something. Can someone inform me, about what exactly it does, if it works, and where the iat sensor is? Thanks a lot.

Ok, what the resistor does is fool the ecu in thinking that it's getting cold air all the time even when it's getting warm air. well, it works ok but after a while your engine starts actting funny because when your at a stop light or idoling it still thinks your driving so, it's still telling the ecu your getting cold air but, you will be over fueling. because your not driving anywhere It's a plug around the air filter (I'm sorry if anything I said was wrong because I'm very tired but, I thought that I would reply before I went offline besides I think I'm rambling anyway)

please, anybody correct me if anything I just said is wrong

you're not going to get 20 hp, and you may damage the engine. You will definitely use more gas.

If you want to try resistor why not try this because it's actually a chip the connects to your car's ecu and not a resistor that fits in the IAT plug http://cgi.ebay.com/REAL-Performance-Chip-TOYOTA-CAMRY-CELICA-SUPRA-40-BHP_W0QQitemZ230221223288QQihZ013QQcategoryZ32094Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
