View Full Version : DDR SP4 Coming to America! DDR SP4 Coming to America! DDR Team 05-07-2006, 03:59 PM DDR Motorsport Team NewyorkKopter 06-03-2006, 04:27 PM Is it supposed to look like a stubby McLaren? DDR Team 06-05-2006, 02:56 PM Why do you think that? :naughty: NewyorkKopter 06-05-2006, 04:29 PM the pictures say it all here's your car.....the DDR SP4 http://www.ddrmotorsport.com/images/pic_2.jpg and here's the Mighty Mac http://www.allfastcars.com/cars/mclarenf1.jpg See the resemblence? The thing is though, your car has a shorter nose, smaller headlights, and smaller wheels so therefore it looks like a stubby McLaren. DDR Team 06-05-2006, 04:40 PM My concern is: you feel better making "non constructive critics" from other peoples work??? I ask myself... I doesn't matter I hope your happy living in your perfect world. NewyorkKopter 06-06-2006, 06:00 AM no no its not that. I respect what you have done, I mean you've made your own car out of scratch, but I really think that you should just speed a little more time on the body, because it could be painful driving around in your car and people point at you and say "I never knew there was an F1 kit car". 2.2 Straight six 06-14-2006, 10:34 PM yes, we can appreciate the work put into it. but it's not original in design. you've copied the F1. poeple wont appreciate that you've copied another car's design. NewyorkKopter 06-15-2006, 07:33 AM DDR, you probably spent alot of time and effort into making the car, but you cut back on the body...The looks of a car can sometimes make it or break it. Just look at the Pagani Zonda, there are other supercars with a V12, carbon fiber tub, 600 hp, etc, but there's only one Zonda and that's because of its design. Copying the looks of a well-known exotic deoesn't help you get customers, or even respect for that matter. And besides as of now its 2 to 1. TheCarGuy0289 03-23-2008, 08:15 PM Anyone have an idea of how many DDR cars have been delivered? I've only seen the blue one (plus the other colors photoshoped on their web site). Would love to see these guys succeed - but there's GOT TO BE more than one car! Has anyone besides them made it to a show with a completed car?
