03 xterra 4x4 V6. I've got an autometer transmission temp gauge, so where do i screw the electric sender into?

Not sure, what did the gauge kit advise?
I got a PermaCool transmission filter kit that included a gauge and sender that attaches into a third port in the remote filter mount:
