Spray it through an airbrush (if it's 1000 or above) Use it like primer. Thin coats as usual.

500 may be too thick to airbrush, who knows!

Oh yeah, thin with lacquer thinner.

from my experience, I NEVER use Mr.Surface in the airbrush.. it's EXTREMELLY hard to clean after.

what I use Mr.Surface for is mostly to cover up marks from molding lines or smoothen up the surfaces that are made of epoxy putty... it's not used as a primer... but like it's name says... to creat a good surface FOR priming...

apply it with a toothpick, nice and easy... throw out the tooth pick after... don't use paint brushes on it too, like i said, its hard to clean off after.

i picked up some weird putty that eats my plastic and then dries....it molds itself to the plastic and i tried sanding it before it was done drying....OOPS!

it's usually dried in 1/2 hr or so... but i usually let it sit for over 1 hr just in case.

It works just like Gunze's lacquer-based acrylic, so it has to be thinned with Mr. Thinner or compatible thinner when spraying through the airbrush. It can be used straight out of the bottle when applied with a brush, but you'll want to thin it to avoid thick application anyway.

It dries very fast, and can be sanded in less than an hour, but drying time depends on the thickness, humidity and all that, just like any paint.
