yeah i did a search and couldnt find what i need to know so here i am asking you experts some questions.

yesterday i let my little brother drive my s14 and he backed into a high curd and bent the stock muffler (the tips are seriously bent), so now my muffler looks ugly and i wanna change a new muffler. the thing is im just a high school kid i have no experience about cars, i dont really know how to install a new muffler. i am about to buy a cheap a$$ universal muffler on ebay. can y'all please show me how to install a new muffler please? like how do you plug the inlet into the mid pipe? what tools do you use? and would you guys please suggest me some nice cheap muffler that i should use for my 95 s14? thank you.3

oh yeah im about to buy 1 of these you think this can fit into my car?

yeah i guess imma save up to buy a catback at a local shop. but the thing is how do i install the catback into my exhaust system? do i use bolts to connect the inlet of the catback to the mid pipe or something? what kind of tools should i use? oh and i dont really want the exhaust to be loud as hell like those stupid racer wannabe honda civics.

two bolts after the cat and i think three exhaust hangers, not hard at all, and pretty self explanatory... search if u need to, but if u cant change ur exhaust then give up on mods now.

It honestly shouldn't be hard to just straighten out the bent part on the exhaust tips. Mine was bent when I got it and all I did was use a pair of pliers shaped it right.

Maybe try looking into some used exhausts on NICO.com or something.

yeah i see the 2 bolts that connects the catback to the muffler but the part where the catback meets the muffler has a curve so i guess ill just have to buy the whole straight catback

what??? THere are two bolts on the catalytic converter that hold the actual exhaust pipe to the converter. THen there are three hangers, so your exhaust doesnt drag down the road. The hangers may be a bitch to get out and put the new exhaust back in place. A muffler should be welded to the exhaust pipe....not bolted to it. Once you get the actual catback you will better understand how it should go on. But you can always get like an hks or apex universal muffler and have a muffler shop weld it on in place of your stocker. But i would just save and get a catback exhaust. A good cheap one that has a stock look and supposedly is pretty quiet is an rs*r exmag.

Man I need a better flowing exhaust, what is a bood flowing but not loud catback for a decent price? and it has to sound good.
