Full credit must go to the photographer Graham Moore. He took the pics on the 12th May 2004. The night time shot 17th Jan this year. http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/1408/897632276466fc0a4c5ql.th.jpg (http://img141.imageshack.us/my.php?image=897632276466fc0a4c5ql.jpg) http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/9366/8979269563026ab4972wq.th.jpg (http://img527.imageshack.us/my.php?image=8979269563026ab4972wq.jpg) http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/7668/897938831d85ac7db49ge.th.jpg (http://img527.imageshack.us/my.php?image=897938831d85ac7db49ge.jpg) http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/8236/89793933ea98cf2ee31ut.th.jpg (http://img527.imageshack.us/my.php?image=89793933ea98cf2ee31ut.jpg) http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/4990/897948059ff1dedbd87tr.th.jpg (http://img138.imageshack.us/my.php?image=897948059ff1dedbd87tr.jpg) http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/8182/89795134355dd19faa6tk.th.jpg (http://img138.imageshack.us/my.php?image=89795134355dd19faa6tk.jpg) http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/6773/897951941a63efa6727jm.th.jpg (http://img138.imageshack.us/my.php?image=897951941a63efa6727jm.jpg) http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/3981/89795256357aad98290fg.th.jpg (http://img138.imageshack.us/my.php?image=89795256357aad98290fg.jpg) http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/6018/8979573234b06f6ae80wx.th.jpg (http://img223.imageshack.us/my.php?image=8979573234b06f6ae80wx.jpg) http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/5456/89795788d4235ba5650oq.th.jpg (http://img223.imageshack.us/my.php?image=89795788d4235ba5650oq.jpg) http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/4016/89795943227e3246033ed.th.jpg (http://img133.imageshack.us/my.php?image=89795943227e3246033ed.jpg) http://img58.imageshack.us/img58/3148/8979693320a7c3e7150xl.th.jpg (http://img58.imageshack.us/my.php?image=8979693320a7c3e7150xl.jpg) http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/6063/897927649d1f1e86711aw.th.jpg (http://img133.imageshack.us/my.php?image=897927649d1f1e86711aw.jpg) Many thanks Graham, Ace pics. Just a strange thing though, the pic Im using for my sig has the Xp5 and Xp1LM cars the other way round. Same as the top (night) picture. Wonder why that occured? Le Man 05-16-2006, 06:36 PM Just found these, MTC staff party (feb 06). http://img400.imageshack.us/img400/6856/f1lm8nn.th.jpg (http://img400.imageshack.us/my.php?image=f1lm8nn.jpg) http://img483.imageshack.us/img483/9513/f16kv.th.jpg (http://img483.imageshack.us/my.php?image=f16kv.jpg) XP1 LM and ? (This is not XP5) Not unless I am mistaken. Ace pics, Love the angle of shot. Photo credit to Nick Harrison. BMW.WilliamsF1Team 05-16-2006, 07:28 PM Thanks for the pics! Not sure on the chassis # of the blue one. Looks like #018 before the respray, but with a different interior (slightly diff). I would guess 008, 048, 052. I don't have any pictures of these 3 chassis, so I can't say which I think it is most. Peloton25 05-16-2006, 08:34 PM I think it's XP5 and the bright flash and color balance are playing tricks on us with the paint color on the car. If the photo were just a bit clearer we'd be able to see the unique cut-out prototypes have surrounding the door lock/release. You'll recall Andy pointed out to me in another thread just the other day in regards to XP4. The interior in this car is a match for what XP5 has post refit, and the fact that no other road car has been spotted there on any other occasions seems to provide enough evidence for me. >8^) ER payso 05-16-2006, 11:20 PM Although not at the MTC, I Found this page very interesting. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rj17/archives/date-taken/2003/07/02/ also these ones: http://www.flickr.com/photos/99942665@N00/sets/72057594124310111/with/139786902/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/kjasani/sets/72057594084716948/with/114121309/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/jburns00/archives/date-posted/2005/09/18/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/jcheng/sets/521173/with/22531008/ (dont forget to click on pg2) Thanks for the site Le Man http://static.flickr.com/54/127430878_a74b52c867.jpg http://www.flickr.com/images/spaceball.gif http://static.flickr.com/21/25057963_843c80650e.jpg?v=0 http://static.flickr.com/22/25057613_e5ff39c4b7.jpg?v=0 http://static.flickr.com/22/25057208_f3667e9e28.jpg?v=1121126027 http://www.flickr.com/images/spaceball.gif Samurai75007 05-16-2006, 11:24 PM Nice find. cabrio92 05-17-2006, 03:38 AM Waooh thank you very much. I love 01R ! What a stunning machine with a beautiful livery. What a great history ! I know it was already asked, but I try : Can we visit MTC ? What about the old factory ? Phil Le Man 05-17-2006, 03:02 PM Thankyou for your appreciation guys, originaly posted by Payso Thanks for the site Le Man Your welcome Payso, many thanks for high lighting the other fickr.com links for everybody here. Erik, you are correct, just been watching a video with XP5 driving in very bright sunshine, the side and face tone of the paint keeps changing from green to blue. interesting!! The old AMG DTM race cars had the same effect, but I am sure they did not use a reflex colour as well. mini magic 05-20-2006, 08:48 PM ...The interior in this car is a match for what XP5 has post refit... Refit? When was it refitted? Peloton25 05-20-2006, 09:59 PM XP5 has been redone a few times throughout it's life, keeping it up to date with current production standards, but I was speaking about when they redid the car prior to sticking it in the McLaren showroom on Park Lane. It's current interior looks a lot like what it had originally from what I can tell through old photos- though I believe it's original driver's seat was black with a grey insert. Midway through it's life it had green leather and suede with a red driver's seat insert as seen in this shot: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v482/Peloton25/McLaren%20F1%20B/1795750b.jpg >8^) ER mini magic 05-20-2006, 10:19 PM Ok. Has anyone found a better, popular site? (Webshots is nowhere near as good) vectorspecialist 08-13-2007, 11:13 AM i've always wondered, how the hell do u get into the drivers seat? hurstg01 08-13-2007, 12:28 PM When I was in #013, I made sure that, when facing towards the front of the car, you entered in via the lefthand passenger side, therefore avoiding the 'tricky' gearknob. Tiff Needel did a bit about getting into the F1 as part of his F1 v Enzo segment; I posted it somewhere but I can't locate it at the moment, here are some screen grabs from that segment, of Tiff's 'arse in and swing the legs up' method http://img165.imagevenue.com/loc1180/th_22452_getting_in_122_1180lo.JPG (http://img165.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=22452_getting_in_122_1180lo.JPG) http://img172.imagevenue.com/loc164/th_22458_getting_in1_122_164lo.JPG (http://img172.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=22458_getting_in1_122_164lo.JPG) http://img140.imagevenue.com/loc185/th_22464_getting_in2_122_185lo.JPG (http://img140.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=22464_getting_in2_122_185lo.JPG)http ://img43.imagevenue.com/loc977/th_22466_getting_in3_122_977lo.JPG (http://img43.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=22466_getting_in3_122_977lo.JPG) http://img156.imagevenue.com/loc1161/th_22472_getting_in4_122_1161lo.JPG (http://img156.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=22472_getting_in4_122_1161lo.JPG)htt p://img156.imagevenue.com/loc1179/th_22477_getting_in5_122_1179lo.JPG (http://img156.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=22477_getting_in5_122_1179lo.JPG) http://img184.imagevenue.com/loc65/th_22482_getting_in6_122_65lo.JPG (http://img184.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=22482_getting_in6_122_65lo.JPG) http://img34.imagevenue.com/loc841/th_22483_getting_in7_122_841lo.JPG (http://img34.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=22483_getting_in7_122_841lo.JPG) vectorspecialist 08-13-2007, 04:00 PM ok, is that the one on youtube.com countachal 08-13-2007, 07:07 PM I wonder how recently those were taken, i'm guessing fairly recent as the green F1 seems to have new style headlights. I've not seen it like that before. Pictures still dont shed any light on the, where is the F1GT mystery? pimp349 08-13-2007, 09:59 PM Thanks for the pics. Put your left hand on the roof for some support and put your legs around the steering wheel. Tiff's way (same as the others) just seems awkward. Alex1485 04-13-2008, 12:07 AM shame no one got pictures of the McLaren Can Am car on the far right (on the outside buildilng picture showing all the cars). vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
