Is there a Shelby Cobra 427 kit, and has anyone built a Shelby Series 1? If so please post pics.

AMT made a Shelby Cobra kit which was a 427 a few years back. It was in 1/16th scale, but was pretty accurate and fun to build. I attached pics of the one I built. You may have trouble finding one though because it is obscure and out of production. If you absolutely need one, I would consider selling mine for the right price, but I don`t think anyone needs one that bad. :) :) :) :licker: :licker: :licker: I love this kit.
I have the series 1 as well, but it will be a while before I build it.

I've got some Series 1 and '62-64 AC Cobra 289 restoration pictures on my website. Both of them are awaiting body work, so they're pretty much just construction pics of the chassis/engine.

Hope I could help.

Thanks for the help. The engine wasn't very visible on the box and I wanted to make sure it was in the right position.

I got a 1/24 427 Cobra, its just been sittin on my shelf with no exaust pipes or rollbar for about 2 months though. I gotta sand the right angle on the exausts and find where the rollbar goes and things like that..that i'm just too lazy to do really :P i'll get some pic when i finish it if you want.
