AWDSR20 04-26-2006, 10:42 PM shorten the motor by connecting it to a power source, once it moved to the rear position, remove the power from the motor and use the belt as a normal manual belt. i did that, hell with that 40lb motor! 89'SIL-40 04-27-2006, 04:05 PM Seat belts on 240s are supposed to be lifetime warranty! On my last 240 i replaced the drivers side belt assy. cause it wasnt retracting.
