ima get a 240 s14 and i wanna change the headlights to the kouki ones what will i need to complete the whole thing?? Would it be jus the head lights and a new bumper or what?? Sorry for the noobie ass question :banghead:

hood fenders headlights. im not sure about the bumper. and i think the headlight brackets. dont quote me on it

looking at about $2000 for that and thats if u go stock man. here is what u need.
-hood
-front bumper
-front grill
-L&R parking lighs
-L&R headlights
-bumper re-bar/reinforcement(large bar that is found underneath your bumper)
-bumper bracket(bolts onto the sides of the fender and rad supports,supports the front bumper)
-L&R stays(bolt onto the re-bar and bracket bolts onto them)

is it legal to use the jdm bumper? some website selling s15 front conversions said that the s15 swap isnt road legal (something to do with the bar?)

like the cops are going to see the difference between the normal bar and the kouki bar...whoops, your talking about the S15 conversion.

S14 kouki conversion = the S14 front end converting to the still S14 but with more aggresive headlights, the face lifted one.

s14 to S15 conversion = the S14 front end converting to the totally different S15.

i understand what each swap means, but i was confused weather or not it was legal to use the kouki jdm bumper, instead of the the kouki US bumper. (correct usage of kouki?) The only reason i asked is because i read that the s15 conversion (on any 240) wasnt road legal. your right about the cops though.
