You guys seem to be able to help me..so I guess I'll ask yall your opinions on these problems with my Caprice that I just noticed.

I hear this weird noise that kind of sounds like grinding or something when I cut the wheel all the way to one side. Is this normal, or is something wrong? Because before this car I had a Cadillac, and it never made any noise like that if I cut the wheel all the way to one side.

Also, I hear another noise if I shift from park to reverse, or from reverse to drive. I cant really describe this noise because it is very quick and happens right after I shift into either reverse or drive.

If yall can help me out, id appreciate it. I love this car, so Im trying to get rid of all these problems with this damn thing. :banghead:

#1 can be a loose power steering belt, a bad pump or bad gear. It could also be low fluid. It could also be something on the suspension.

#2 is likely worn U-joints. Less likely is play in the differential.
