Hey all,

New here and looking for any advice you might have on replacing these parts on my fiances Tahoe. We bought all of the parts and they are ready to go on as well as new brakes. Looks like the only part that isn't easy is making sure the CV axles (4WD) don't pull out while you are pulling the old hubs out.

Can you let me know what you think?

Thanks,

Jason

Unthread the c/v axle nut, spray some penitrating oil on the splines, put the nut back on so that the flat surface is out, thread it on so the nut is sticking out a little past the end of the shaft and then it it with a hammer. Once the axle has been broken free then you should not have any problems removing the hub assy.
