If i were to get the new engine (sr20) and the Manual tranny, how much work would be needed to finish the conversion from auto to stick? I know i would need the manual ECU, and clutch. What else would i need for it all towork, and how much am i looking at? sidewayzS13 04-24-2006, 12:15 PM jesus man ok sr20 your looking at say 2500 for the front clip yes if you are smart you will buy a front clip. depends on your area but lets just estimate 1k for labor. so we are at 3500 now thats w/ a bon sock sr. now if u want a new bov and front mount lets call both of those close to another 1k w/ the hotpipe. now 4500. new headgasket what like 100. new clutch and flywheel which you should do right away another 700 minimum. then if you feel it need be sending f for wiring harness lengthened. like 150. im tired of doing math you do it now. exhaust if you dont already have a 3inch another 500. and then who who knows what else you may need aluminum rad if u want one 300. new motor mounts 175. basically this is all good stuff to get when you do the swap. o add it up and see what it comes to. and then dont forget your engine may not be perfect and you may end up needing other various stuff. like my crank angle sensor came broken had to buy a new one forget how much it cost but it wasnt cheap. now have fun and stop asking the same fucking ? in new threads all the time its annoying and do some research google can be your friend just as much as it is my friend sidewayzS13 04-24-2006, 06:54 PM i didnt directly spell it out for you but i did answer sorry YES it can be changed to a manual. which is why i made sure to include in that list of parts and clutch and flywheel. the answer is yes yes yes yes yes yes it can be dont its not that hard at all and i dont believe that you googled it like you said because i would be willing to bet you $200 through paypal i could find a wirte up on it or for a ka which is close enough that you can get the jist dude your blowin my buzz sidewayzS13 04-24-2006, 06:58 PM yay for google it took me 3 min to find that though google all i did was type sr20 manual swap and presto i have the answer 3 min from last post to search to this post 3 min FUCK http://srownersclub.com/faq/index.asp#transswap doubleclutch 04-24-2006, 11:04 PM Wow sideways, you owned him... sidewayzS13 04-24-2006, 11:31 PM are you happy w/ your answer yet or did me googling exactly what you need not do the trick? and i liked the PM you sent saying you googled it when i googled it and found it on the first page Skylindrftr 04-24-2006, 11:54 PM Zomg J_Swigz 04-25-2006, 12:03 AM I have a 1991 240sx AUtomatic 4Cyl.
