My steering wheel is crooked on my 92 hatch, no idea how it happened but it did. Can I fix it myself or should I just take it to a mechanic?

I was told that my suspension parts are probably bent and I should get an alignment. Is repositioning the wheel a temporary fix?

get an alignment first and see if that helps
