Hey, i have got a 1991 240sx automatic 4cyl.

I am planning on gettin a RB26dett or RB25det, Im not too sure. I was thinkin the rb25 would be better since its rwd and the 26 is awd. And im pretty sure the RB25 has more power than the sr20. aNY 1 HAVE ANY TIPS? or suggestoins?

IM not 100% sure if i could make an Auto be a manual, Cuz i would need to add a clutch. But i think its possble since i would have an Manual tranny//ECU// engine parts, all i would need to do is add a clutch i think?

you'd also need oil lines, coolant lines, rad, new rear end, belts, gaskets and seals.. all the small things will add up and cost you near $2000..

wouldnt my old oil lines and coolant lines work? from when i had the auto tranny in and stock engine?

It wouldnt cost 12 grand... i dont think, Maybe after labor. But i got a friend that can do the install. i can get the engine//Tranny and these parts:

sounds like you know what your doing already. We cant tell you anything more than you already know. Or else you wouldnt make 3 identical threads, and ask the dumb questions over and over. Dont know if you can do a manual swap or not?? christ.....

Im with d-bo....nothing but problems. If your friend can do the swap, then why ask us....he should already know, right????

the sr is way more than enough for you. But the rb25 is faster.....lol. Stock for stock of course........i still dont get this guy.

I dont get the post behind the "hmmmm" and the pics of the 240. Like its something godly or something??? i think not.
