2000 Range Rover 4.0L trouble code P0734 (gear 4 incorrect ratio)?

check engine light is on and the trouble code I am getting is P0734 (gear 4 incorrect ratio). What exactly does this mean and how can I fix this? please help, thanks.

I have the same problem, did you ever find out what that trouble code P0734 (gear 4 incorrect ratio) meant?

see it all the time.mass airflow sensor maf is at fault. replace or try and clean.
