Got quite a bit of money and was wondering how I could increase take off... 0-60 is around 8-9 secs... put on headers and aem intake... Have a automatic 97 Hyundai Tiburon. Everyone up here in Washington wants to race my car because its loud and is bright orange. So I want to show everyone that tibby's are fast and want to blow em away. Ne help will be appreciated.

T/C or S/C will do a good job, not sure what is out there for forced induction for your car though

well since the 1st gens are quite lighter than all the others and they had the same engine (the fx i believe) as the 2nd gen.... of course it's a lil faster, however... running intake, exaust, headers, isn't cutting it for you, nos will help out your acceleration or get a cam for it... cams are niiice

if you want to get a faster acceleration, do not have your air conditioniner on.... im serious...

take out anything you dont need, save weight...
lighter rims, c/f hood/ hatch

don't turn on the air condition at all???? I don't want to put nos in the car first of all it only last short period of time and since i have an automatic i can't put a cam in right?

you can put the 1.8 l or the XD cam intake side should give you a noticeable gain
