I'm impressed with the kit, and I can't wait to take it on the road! I've also got some new wheels and hpi pro compound radials so I can race it as well as drift it. Feint Motion 04-21-2006, 08:14 PM Nice! Get some chassis shots. What transmitter is that the Futaba 2pl? weaponjoe 04-22-2006, 12:21 AM Nice! Get some chassis shots. What transmitter is that the Futaba 2pl? I'll post some more pics in a second. Transmitter is the Futaba 2PL, yep. So, I us... Forgot all about the body film when I was finishing the model.. (don't blame me, I was up all night building it... I was tired. hah) So when I took it out to road test today (that thing is a blast! it hauls ass with the hpi low profile pro compound radials I got.) and crashed it a few times, I was reminded of the film and, heh, I tore it off with my decals and all... So, where can I get a spare subaru decal sheet? weaponjoe 04-22-2006, 12:58 AM oops. weaponjoe 04-22-2006, 12:59 AM http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v102/teamjoe/04-21-06_2136.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v102/teamjoe/04-21-06_2137.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v102/teamjoe/04-21-06_2138.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v102/teamjoe/04-21-06_2139.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v102/teamjoe/04-21-06_2149.jpg need to redo the windows, or just get a new body.. fucked that one up. hah. Feint Motion 04-23-2006, 08:21 PM Clean chassis. To bad about that subie body. How well does it drift? weaponjoe 04-24-2006, 01:16 AM Clean chassis. To bad about that subie body. How well does it drift? and it's alright, I'm getting a bmw m3 body soon for free. :D It drifts pretty decently so far from what I've experienced, but it's only my tenth time or so even driving an RC car let alone trying to drift with it. I bet once I take it on a better road surface and get some skill, it'll drift mean. However, so far I'm having more fun running the road radials and doing drills and up and down hill chicane runs. :grinyes: JayGTI8v 05-13-2006, 12:08 PM lookin good mate i have one the same sweet weaponjoe 05-24-2006, 01:51 AM lookin good mate i have one the same sweet yeah man, it's a blast. GTmike400 01-26-2007, 09:10 PM thanx....so about how much do those rc electric drift cars cost? Between $200-$250 startup contest. ChevyRidinLow 01-27-2007, 09:25 AM really?!?!? dang i thought theyd be less than the nitros since u dont have the complicated engine pre98zetec 01-27-2007, 10:11 AM 200-250$ IS less then nitros.... your average hobby grade nitro is 300 dollars. GTmike400 01-27-2007, 02:54 PM really?!?!? dang i thought theyd be less than the nitros since u dont have the complicated engine That is a lot less than a nitro. I payed about $400+ when I had a nitro on road, and about $600 when I had a TMaxx. Like Josh said, the basic nitro starts at about $300ish. However, if you get towards the top of the line in electric you'll spend just as much. My Schumacher is about $600 with aftermarket parts and such.
