right front side looking down..

i just noticed that the cam belt is frayed, and needs replacing.can i replace that belt by removing the cover, disengauging the tension and sliding the belt right out ,or do i need to do some major pulley disesembling? Also aren't there two belts? thanks in advance

Are you looking at the serpentine belt? My '94 uses timing chains.I changed the serpentine belt with no problems, but to be on the safe side I also changed the tensioner and the idler pulley.

It is easier to remove the tensioner pulley. I believe it's just two small screws for the cam belt tensioner. It's a real easy job to change the belt. 10 minutes at most!
