I was wonderin what everyone mileage was. I am getting 23-24 city. Is that good? I switched from a 4 banger to a v6 3800. So the difference in mileage is noticeable. :grinyes:

In my '90 regal (3.8liter motor) that i bought just about a week ago, through a full tank of 89 octane, i cranked about 26mpg, which is decent considering i have a little bit of a lead foot.........
In my '92 roadmaster wagon, with the 5.7, on a good day i can crank about 20 out of her, lead footed, i might almost be able to see single digits...

Oh my gosh! And I thought I was doing pretty good with 26 Highway with my 3.1! Let's not even talk about city! Hmm... I wonder... I know we have low octane beer out here in SoCal, maybe our gas sucks too, octane rating or not.:eek7:

I live in Montreal, Canada. I Always use regular gasoline (87 octane)... the only time I use high octane, 94 is when I full my bike ;) But ofr the Buick, I never put something else than 87 octane. Just changing your old-dusty air filter for a new one, you can save to 10% of the fuel eff.

So for my part, what it says in the manual of the Buick, its done and a little bit more too!

 O, I was just kidding about the low octane. 87 is the lowest we can get. But I've always gotten that mileage (7 years) even while my car gets serviced (air filter included). Perhaps the California emission requirements doesn't help. And yeah, my bike is the only thing that gets premium, too! It's the only thing that I can afford to fill the tank with premium!! 2.5 gallons? No problem!! Fill 'er up! And I used to be less than a mile from work! Can you imaginge how long it was between fill ups for me?!?!
