i have a friend that first suggested to me that i should get a throttle body spacer, he said i would have a noticeable power increase and it would increase my gas mileage by like 3mpg at least. I drive a 99tahoe with the 5.7L. But everyone on here that i have seen post about the spacer says that they see no improvement and that they have removed them. Is anybody satisfied with their spacer? I want to install an AEM bruteforce intake also, will an intake effect this like it does the k&n?

I have a spacer on my '94 k1500 and didn't notice any improvement in gas mileage, but it seemed to pull my camp trailer better. My next investment will be the Brute Force. I would go with the brute force over anything else because of the type of filter on the intake. AEM uses a dry filter instead of oiled and it is much easier to clean and the tests that I have seen stops much more dirt than the other brands with out loosing air flow.
