Anybody recommend any white rims?h82lose 07-15-2002, 11:50 AM By August I would like to have new rims on my 96 civic cx hatch which is red so I figured white would look awesome on it. I want to go 16 inch because that is my compromise of style and speed. I really liked those new rage breaker 5.0 but they come in white unfortunatly. Oh almost forgot something under 1200 for wheels and tires. Thanx :D Rein 07-15-2002, 12:31 PM Depends on your preference for how many spokes and how thick of spokes you like. h82lose 07-15-2002, 02:33 PM Well I like 5,6, and 7 spoke design and I like a semi thick spoke. Weight is kinda of a issue but money is more important right now Rein 07-16-2002, 05:02 AM Well then I recommend the good ol Motegi MR7 http://www.trixracing.com/motor/pictures/17inwhitemr71.jpg Dezoris 07-16-2002, 07:53 AM Kosei K-1 are champs. h82lose 07-16-2002, 07:04 PM are these wheels on tire rack? Bashment 07-16-2002, 09:03 PM I have ah pair of those Montegi MR 7 in silver though on 91 4dr civic, ridin on 205/40/16,the ride is ah lil rough since their are 40 series but when i due my susupension it should stiffen it some. h82lose 07-16-2002, 11:57 PM I like those!:D I'll start researching them tommorrow. Any others? Wait though I thought civics took a 205/45/16 not a 205/40/16 Bashment? Duatone 07-19-2002, 05:50 AM well, i know theyre 18's, and i know theyre not the lightest wheel around, but i think they look good, get em anyways onesojourner 07-19-2002, 11:08 AM how about these http://www.msnusers.com/_Secure/0NgD7dz8SRtFq9cpmlvXLRIvneeKopwcnsVel4VDplokSwvBaU 6Iieqbr6gHdyQKwPGupLF7H6ArBJTtX7gLBaw/MVC-008F.JPG h82lose 08-10-2002, 06:49 PM Hey guys I've settled on the motegi mr7 16 inch for my car. The reason is that are at sears for 349 for a set of 4 16x7 until august 24. Now what size wheel can I put on there? I always it had to be 205/45/16 but the guy at sears said I could do 205/55/16 or even 205/50/16. I would like to have a higher side wall because of all the potholes. In a previous post some one recommened tires but are bfgoodrich schorchers any good? Thanx vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
