I have been searching for a Tacoma pickup, 3.4l, 4x4, 2001 or 2002. I found one the other day, but it had drum brakes on the rear. The man at the car lot said they all have drums on the rear. Is he feeding me a line, or is this truly the case? I really want my vehicle to have 4-wheel disc brakes. Does anybody have a Tacoma that has 4-wheel disc brakes, or was this not an option?

Disc brakes were not an option for Tacomas. You can purchase aftermarket disc brake conversion kits.

Has anybody had any success with these conversion kits? Anybody know a good manufaturer or where you can buy such a conversion kit? ANy info would be appreciated.
