Stupid ASM and TCS

GAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! How do you turn these off in simulation mode? I've tried to under the options screen, but it says that its still on whenever I'm in a race. grrrrrr. I must beat the wet route 5 course in a Speed 12 with simulation tires and no ASM or TCS....

Go to Settings (for you car)>change settings...go to the block on the very right, then adjust, the ASM and TCS to Zero...
