GT-R to have a Nissan badge, not InfinitiJaguar D-Type 04-13-2006, 01:40 AM Automotive News 4-12-2006 NEW YORK -- Nissan Motor Co. will sell the high-performance GT-R sports car as a Nissan in the United States, not an Infiniti. The car is due in the United States in 2008, about a year after a redesigned version goes on sale in Japan in fall 2007. Infiniti dealers in the United States had clamored for the car. But Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Nissan Motor, said the GT-R is a Nissan in all other markets. Ghosn spoke Wednesday at the New York auto show. 1viadrft 04-14-2006, 12:39 PM Hmm... I like that idea. garret_the_driver 04-15-2006, 08:49 AM Well, that's one question answered out of 100000000000000000. igor@af 04-16-2006, 12:31 AM Guys, head over to http://www.gtrnation.com/ We will be turning it into the GT-R Owners Club for the United States once it gets close to the release. As for questions regarding the next GT-R, whatcha got? I am very up-to-date on the rumors surrounding the car. No one has any hard facts except for few key people in Nissan Japan, you know they can't talk. Skyline_BNR34 04-16-2006, 12:53 PM Yes, finally it will be a Nissan and not an Infiniti. I'm happy but I can't wait to see the final design for it. Mad_Maxima 04-19-2006, 03:11 PM I heard it was gonna be an Infinity, so happy it will be a Nissan, only way to go. I'd be like giving Infinity the "Z" badge, just wouldn't be right. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
