I have a 94 del sol (1.5, standard trans, base model car) that needs a motor and a '90 B18A1 (from a '90 integra RS automatic) that needs a car. Is this a bolt in swap? can I use the ECU from the integra? What do I need to do? Thanks in advance for any advice.

No, no, and no. 1992 is when Hondas went from OBD0 to OBD1. You don't want the headache of doing the conversion. Trust me. It's a bitch. I've done it before. And also, if you're in an area that does emissions, your car will no longer pass emissions with a motor in it older than the car. Save up your pennies and get a B18c1 if you really want the integra motor, or get a B16a3.

Thanks for the reply! As far as the d motor vs the b motor, are the interchangeable or are the trannies different for example, if I got a b18 of the newer type, will that be a plug & play swap? can I use the trans from the del sol with a newer b series? Can I use the b18a1 block & head with a later intake & emmisions etc. Thanks again!
