I ran codes on my 91 TT and read that the knock sensor was bad. It has been running ruff and has long starts. I need some advise on how to replace it. I replaced the whole timing belts and the tensioner pulley thinking the timing was off but it is now the knock sensor. If anyone has any links or pictures on how to replace it i will greatly appreciate it a lot
thanks

Brandon

The knock sensor is under the intake plenums, bolted right to the top of the block between the cylinder heads. It's mildly intense to get down there. Anyway, might want to make sure that its the knock sensor that's bad and not some fuel/air/spark problem that is causing the poor running and tripping the knock sensor.
