I Have a 1998 Honda Passport LX 4WD with Battery and Brake light flashing only when accelerating and light goes off when not accelerating.

regards,Sounds like your alternator's voltage regulator is bad.

Classic sign of an alternator kicking the bucket.

Get a Bosch "Hot" alternator - do NOT waste your time with most reman alternators, and forget Checker's alternators all-together. They are a waste of time, period.

Don't be surprised if your battery doesn't soon follow - it's almost like they follow suit.
