i actually just went to germany over march break, i was trying to find any possible way to get to the ring but couldn't. i wish i could have stayed an extra day with a rented car, something kinda fast, and done lap after lap of the nurburgring.

Damn i cant wait till morning over there i want to see some nice cars. Nice link, i could sit here and watch this all night.

i drove the autobahn with a rental lamborghini diablo and by god, I can't explain the amount of power that son o' a * had... alot of traffic on the Autobahn.. man.. i would love to go to the "ring" some of you guys are so lucky to live close to the "ring" also... we make such a big thread and deal about this is because i know i can't find austin martins and ferraris in a small town with a population of 5,000 in Canada, but I will be going to Florida this weekend and as I said earlier i did go to Europe before but was mainly there for Italy and Paris.

@proudfordowner, you must chosse the right autobahn to drive on it and also the right time. Our autobahnen havn't always to much traffic. And when there is too much traffic you can nevertheless go very fast, because nobody really droves so slow like in you must in other lands. And for that I needn't a Lambo. My car goes easily the 250km/h.


@all, to drive over the nordschleife is definitely an experience but if you don't know it you can crah you car very quick. It's not for nothing called the hardest racing track in the world. I see in this thread wondering many, why they close the track son many times. This happens always when a biker or a car has a really bad crash.

ya, it looked like a slow day at the track, but i think it might'v been a special test day because most of the cars i saw were sponsored cars. We'll see whats up tonight. that wrc sub was badass. It's weird how dangerous that track is, but the people that race their alot drvie it like it's nothing in the rain and snow etc.

I dont remeber if it was 16-18 for license but you would need a international or german license. German license i think was a 6 month course 2500$ just for license i think you have to have like a permit for a while to like here i can't remeber i'll ask my sister later.

You got to think bout it they aren't going to let you loose on the autobahn not knowing how to drive. Like there car inspections no leaks no nothing if somting is broke or leaking its not going on the road. Also on the autobahn if you aren't passing you stay in left lane or you will get pulled and have license suspended and last i herd fine and maybe alittle jail.

Because i am from Australia and i was considering going to germany later in the year when i have my full licence. Because im pretty sure that i have to have my full licence to get an international licence. But that is not really my problem i think its hiring cars and the rental company giving insurance to a 19 year old is my main problem. I would only want a international licence cos i would only be going over there for a couple weeks. So does anyone know the minimum age for rental car companies to hire out cars to people on a holiday??

i donno.. why would you park on the main straight.. on an angle? theres no tread marks/smoke and the tires are pointed to the left hand side so i wouldn't be suprised if it was parked...

its really comfortable.. especially the seats. lots of room.. (not as much as the h2) but still preaty fast for a truck of that type.. $56,585 (tax n' everything) with the 1SC package and ebony w/Front leather seating surfaces. the motor is a 3.5L DOHC 5-Cylinder MFI with a 5-speed manual transmission.ETR AM/FM Stereo w/CD/DVD/Navigation and some other stuff . but anyways im getting off topic

well its about a 2 hour drive to toronto from where i live then take a plane from there straight to Nuerburg ranges in price from $900 - $1600

rofl.. yea well i have to get a rental car, so thats nice.. ill try to put in a camera for sure, that would also be sick. and its only 16 euros per lap, unfourtunatly im going there in about a year.
