i finally went to the junk yard to look at my srt-4....i suppose the person(s) whom said it was not wise to undo the rear brakes during the winter wasn't lying. not a good thing at all. if anythings mispelled sry, my typing isn't quite back to normal. but, it is not and i can't stress this enough, NOT a good idea to run in the winter with no rear brakes. they may have allowed me to stop in enough time. i doubt it, going way too fast for the road conditions. but....at least i lived through it. all my wife keeps saying, at least i lived through it. i think the worst part, it is not the fact that i destroyed the car....the worst part is the fact that she was in the oncoming lane when it hapened....watched me tear a perfectly nice car apart. that too, and she knew it was mine....cars aren't made, rather designed to hit a condrete divider, are they? who knew? my talon didn't shred that bad, and i hit it at 70...although, it was not a direct head-on impact like what i just went through, i guess it wasn't. i don't remember this wreck, and i don't remember the talon either....just a bright light, then i woke up a few months later, to learn my car, my baby was gone. i think i cvan still get about 50 bucks for it....the engine is setting where i was supposed to have been setting, but....the front is gone. the rear is pointed now. looks like one of the newer model sunfires...you know, i think the '03 models, with that point to them....maybe it was the '04...the last one, i know that much. the front end, itt doesn't even exist. and the divider...i hit it hard enough to crack it. all along the bottom, right in the same path i hit it on...those big brakes on the front, i might as well have just hit it full speed. it wouldn't have hurt as bad....i hit it hard enough to keep the air bags from deploying. it wasn't until afterwards, when they was moving it off the wall, that they deployed...instead, i ended up in the rear where my rear seats had been. i was trying to get to work, and slid on ice, and hit the wall at 70...rather shitty, if you ask me....should have hit a little harder, actually. this speeding crap. it just isn't worth it anymore. i gotta get something that is just normal. i think one of the pontiac gto's, or mayber the dodge SRT-8...something like that, my wife says all i can have is a bicycle....i'd find a way to nos it though....but, just so everyone knows i didn't just fall off the face of the planet....or get myself killed....damn the bad luck. death wouldn't hurt this bad.....

true, a roll cage would do the trick. i do believe however, the car just couldn't handle it right now. with all the damage and crap....but, i will upload the pics soon. poor thing. almost hated leavingit where it was. since i claimed it, and it wasn't sold to the junkyard, they can't take anything off of it....so, i am going tomorrow, and take a few pics of what is left....it is actually funy, though.....real damn funny. that i take this nice car, take the rear brakes off of it, and end up slamming the crap out of it....but, at least it's not one of those, and i walked away, unscathed stories...shit, broken arms, shattered leg, ribs sticking out through my side. collapsed lungs, punctured heart....punctured liver....lost my spleen someplace, too....but, at least i am alive. went car shopping yesturday. found a nice, unmolested 05 srt-4....thought real hard about getting it....will probably go down tomorrow, after taking pics of destroyed sibbling, and buy it....liked it alot...all stock, nothing done, never been off the showroom floor. only had like 23m on it.....can't beat it....and that caliber.....nasty....it will make you puke the first time you see one out....but, will have pics uploaded in a few days.....hope you like them. then you can wonder how i lived too....
