Pic of my corrado!boosted60 07-12-2002, 04:37 PM I have a 1998 obd2 vr in it with a peloquin diff lightflywheel and stage 2 clutch, coilovers abt wheels and other mods.. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid24/p31705dda410d572346ddf38e51bcaaad/fd96c91c.jpghttp://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid23/p9f520ee204dab43ef23b6043d811a6f0/fda2c524.jpg HayaiCivic 07-15-2002, 08:23 AM I like that! I wouldnt have thought a 98 Corrado looked so nice in red/marron like that. You say VR, you mean VR6 right... because I dont think VW makes a IR or a VR4 <--- impossible since 4s are always inline. Deakins 07-15-2002, 11:41 AM The engine is from 1998, not the car. And a IR engine would be a Inline engine [Inline Line]. And no, four cylinder engines are not always, inline, the Impreza's boxer engine has four cylinders. HayaiCivic 07-20-2002, 03:56 PM are you attacking me? pimpin4profits 07-23-2002, 11:52 PM Originally posted by Deakins And no, four cylinder engines are not always, inline, the Impreza's boxer engine has four cylinders. Yep, Subaru uses flat 4's...my car has one, awesome engine! After looking at tons of inline 4's seeing a flat four is just like "whoa." You can think of it as a 180 degree V4 if you want...but since that isnt a V people usually say horizontally opposed four, or flat four. pimpin4profits 07-23-2002, 11:55 PM By the way, awesome corrado!!! HayaiCivic 07-24-2002, 09:07 AM Yes, but this is not a Subaru Forum.... and in this forum the only cars which exist are VWs... exept when comparing. Deakins, I apologize, you are correct, I should have known that... Im rusty on my Corrado knowlege... specifically because when you hear VW, you hear Beetle, Jetta, GTI... Deakins 07-24-2002, 11:00 AM No worries. Btw. The original Volkswagen was only available with a four-cylinder boxer engine. gto_merah 09-04-2002, 01:30 AM Nice Rado. Used to have a 91 G60, burgundy, 17" Racing Hart F-24s (remember these?). VR6 front end conversion, including fenders. Damn, that was a nice car. I'll have to dig up a photo, scan it, and post it (I had it before digital cameras got big). Of course, now my tastes run Japanese! Hehe! :) I would never have been able to fit 265/30-18s on my Rado! corrado666 12-08-2002, 04:18 PM HayaiCivic stated "Yes, but this is not a Subaru Forum.... and in this forum the only cars which exist are VWs... exept when comparing. Well in this case how comes everytime you post something I see pictures of a Honda, this isn't a VW??? I am just messing with you, atleast someone is keeping this message forum alive... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
