Hello all,

I have a 97 Honda Accord LX 5 spd with 130k SOHC. The car idles and runs great. When driving I usually shift at about 3000 to 3500 RPM's. Right at about 3000 RPM the needle starts bouncing a little. Then I shift and it's ok until I get to about 3-3200 rpm again and it bounces again. Any ideas?

Does it affect drivability at all? Does it jerk around etc?

No. The car seems to run ok. The RPM's just bounce erratically. I noticed a similar issue a while back when I replaced the distributor wires. My RPM's weren't moving at all. Come to find out I had disconnected some wires inside the distributor cap.
