Is Castorl Super Clean available in Europe?

Does it have a different brand name? I can't seem to find it at all :screwy:

Funny, I thought CSC was the European brand. Haven't ever seen it in the States!

Automotive biodegradable cleaner/degreaser. It's sold under many names around the world, but they all pretty much do the same thing. You're looking for something in a spraypump bottle probably. I couldn't guess what it would be called in Polish, or how to spell it! :uhoh:

Although this answer is for Estonia, but I'm almost sure it is also valid for the rest of Europe, and the answer is no :( I've contaced our Castrol importer quite a long time ago and they not only said that there's no product like that in their lineup, but also that they'd never heard of it. I'm still hopeful there's a subsititude with exactly same characteristics, either from Castrol with another name for the product or from someone else. Haven't found any yet, though.

You don't mean brake cleaner, right?

NO! If it has to do with brakes (fluid, cleaner, etc.), keep it away from styrene.

These are the two products I've found in the US that functiuon as CSC-
Purple Power (http://www.clean-rite.com/8BA6A63D422E4C97A44E6C765FDA0FFB.asp?cat_id=D1DB07 C5EE334DDB9CA4877C260DE4E7&pcs_key=6C349CD4072242BFA4AF1BA742183ACA&retpage=%2F38244E3B5419490FAE195D18161C5B9D%2Easp&nm=Purple+Power+Household+Cleaner&spath=Home+%3E+Household+Cleaners&path=Home+%3E+Household+Cleaners&sc_id=)
Simple Green (http://consumer.simplegreen.com/cons_prod_ori.php)

Purple Power as best as I can tell is exactly the same stuff as CSC, sold under a different brand. Simple green is perhaps a bit different, but it does the same thing the same way. Neither item is made specificly for or sold specificly for aoutomotive use- but I've found both in auto parts stores. I've also found them in hardware/home improvement stores.

That's funny Alex! I did exactly the same as you

In fact I went a step further. One of my employee's husband works for castrol and he finally said he can get me a BARRELL!!!!

It is strange that there is no evident alternative here :screwey: I innocently tried some AGIP degreaser which turned a 512 into gel in about 5 minutes

My local automotive store called Castrol for me and they said they don't have this CSC. So it's not available in the Netherlands. I guess the same for the rest of Europe:frown:

Does your employee's husband going to import it? Where does he get it from?

If you have Walmart, you have Castrol Super Clean (now called Super Clean Degreaser).
