Was wondering which tie bar manufacturer would be best for front upper and rear lower? Considering DC Sport but a shop friend told me to go with Sprint. Any suggestions?

Comptech or Neuspeed by far! Both make excellen quality suspension products, Comptech is a bit more higher rated and expensive though. DC Sports is crap IMO, it's mainly just for looks with their stuff.

Front Lower Tie bar
Rear Shock Tower Bar

The Comptech
Front Upper Shock tower bar, is just slightly more efficent than the Neuspeed because of the mounting points
But the Neuspeed is by far a better value.

The rear lower tie bar, situation is tricky.

Now adays the bars are usually combo units.
Sway bars come with tie bars designed to work together.

Like the comptech piece which is the best out there right now.

If you dont want a rear sway bar then the best rear lower tie bar is the
Skunk2, because if the grease fittings for the joints. The neuspeed does not have them, and it turns that bar into junk after a year if you incounter salt and winters..

For those of us who live where it never freezes - will the Neuspeed lower rear bar last?

(Actually I haven't cross-checked prices - if they're the same - the grease fittings are enough to make it worth it.)

Mine did not, after one year, the joints were frozen, it is sitting in my closet, like junk.

Dezoris, does this apply to any rear lower tiebars, or just the ones you mentioned? Right now I have an alright Arospeed rear lower tie, it's one of those crap universal fit type (screw post to adjust the fit), but it works fine for me, till I decide to get like a Neuspeed one or something better than what it is right now.

As for my upper front, I have a polished Neuspeed 4-point bar, and I LOVE it, that's why I recommended it. ;)

If you have a similar style bar with out grease fitting expect the same problem.

Yeah that was with 2 annual applications.

if you got the cash you can't go wrong with Spoon or Mugen!

the rear lower tie bar is removed from my car all the time. except in the winter it stays there. haven't had a problem yet

lol tegs right about spoon. their shits quality but itll cost u. Neuspeed is a good way to go.
