Albuquerque, April 8 & 9, 2006 School & Race, SWMSjfslenes 04-06-2006, 10:41 AM Sorry for the late post. In any event, if you are in or near Albuquerque and like road racing (driving, working, watching, sponsoring, etc.), SWMS is your club. Why? Elementary my dear Watson, SWMS offers drivers schools to just about everyone. Everyone includes folks without race cars...you can drive your street car. Our school/high perf driving experience, is everything but full race. Limited passing on front and back straight. Very safety oriented while learning the craft of high speed performance driving. Next best reason is SWMS does seveal events each year. Usually 4 at Sandia Motor Speedway in Albuquerque. Check out SWMS web site. There is an aerial photo of the track. You'll find 1.65 miles of road course with 14 turns. Two stop and turn right and a couple flat out (100+). School probably full for this April event. Next one in May (assuming we get a volunteer to chair the race). Let's race! SuperStock96 12-01-2006, 12:08 AM Hey, I realize this is an old post, but I am moving to Clovis this week and am looking for a place to watch/experience some racing. I hope to get in touch with SWMS soon and see you out at the track! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
