I think my '92 vigor has a power steering fluid leak. the fluid looked low so i filled it (don't wory the motor was cold when i did it) the next day i checked it again while cold. sure enough the level was low again. anyone know where some common areas of leakage on the vigor power steering system are?

Sometimes it simply overfills Have you checked for visible spills on the reservoir. It often happens to my brothers car especially when he turns the weels when car is not moving.

It is deffinately leaking. It goes through about a bottle of fluid a week. The fluid is all over the undercarriage and there is a nice puddle under the front end too. I think since the car has a lot of miles on it anyway I am going to just keep putting fluid in as needed.

It's possible the power steering rack is leaking. Check for wetness around the rack boots on the inner tie rods. Also be certain to ONLY put approved HONDA power steering fluid in the system. Any other generic p/s fluid or especially ATF, WILL DAMAGE YOUR POWER STEERING SYSTEM!
Good Luck. -Alan.
