01 chevy cavalier

i been having a very big problem with my 01 chevy cavalier Z24. my car wont start or turn over and alot of people are telling me the reason for the no start is that the alarm is keeping it from strarting.i already tested the starter and i know its not the starter, but i know in 01 cavaliers that the alarm is basically ran through the sterio so i was wondering if you guys had any ideas on how to bypass the alarm.
