I was looking at the specs for the 2006 rx-8 and msn and mazda.com say that the 2006 model has 232 hp. were there any changes done to the car? I own one and i dont want to have to tell people, "Yeah...it has about 6 less hp than I thought." If i'm not mistaken, wasnt the car supposed to have like 250 hp? then they said oh, our bad, it only has 238. now it's even less? thoughts?

Yeah that did happen at first. But this time I believe it went down to 232 HP because of the new restrictions. Not all companies are following it though. Such as Nissan and some others. Acura has done it, Toyota, Mazda and I think Honda.
