For my sculpture class. Its a recreation of an old railroad lantern. Roughly 2 feet high. Used only what I found in the scrap metal pile, save for the copper wire. Bout 10 hours into it.

Hey Ace,
I had an idea for starting a sculpture thread, I know I sculpt also and I don't wanna steal your thread, so if you want you can start the thread or if you want I will. I bet there are more sculptures out there, let it be cars or whatever else.

There like figures though, like a scooby doo scuplture and a hellboy and some other stuff, not sure where I would post the pics.

That is great... I really like you going into art man.

Does it stand on the right feet only? How did it came to your mind?

At school, we're wasting our time with interpreting artworks, at the moment sculptures and environments. Somehow I more and more like this stuff.

Have you ever heard of Edward Kienholz? If you're interested in this stuff, you should check out his artwork at google, especially "The portable War Memorial". I like it so much that I'm currently building a scale model of it.
