2006 Prius owner in Northern Calif with a GPS that just will not work; dealer and TMS said owner will have to wait until Nov or Dec 06 for a fix. Anyone else have this problem?

My parents have an 05 with GPS and it's not that it doesn't work, but it doesn't work well... like on a trip 2 days ago he set it to take highways and toll roads and it had us going through some residential neighborhood area between 2 highways that do have direct connectors.

Good luck with the fix, though. Sounds like the Toyota dealer is being lazy on this one.
