Has anyone bought a CVPI from 10-8.us or in-pursuit (eBay)?

Hi, I am pretty new to the site. I want a CVPI more than any other car I've ever wanted. I live an hour away from in-pursuit who is located in Northern California. But 10-8.us has a larger selection, however, they are located in Texas :(, they seem to also be a little more expensive. Does anybody have anything to say about either of them? Thanks for any help.

I recently purchased a 2002 CVPI from In-Pursuit, previously owned by the California Highway Patrol with 102k miles. It was repainted completely black, and featured spotlights, pushbar, police hubcabs, and a whip antenna mounted on top. The interior was blue with a cloth seat in the back.
I monitored the In-Pursuit auctions on Ebay for several months, and noticed the demand for thier vehicles. Very seldom did an auction go the entire 10 days before someone made a purchase with the "buy it now" option. I choose the same option for the price of $6,900.00 and am very pleased.
After researching on-line sellers of ex-Law Enforcement vehicles around the country, I decided to go local and purchase an ex-CHP car due to the state's reputation of excellent maintenance programs versus police or sheriff vehicles, or out of state cars with potential exposure to road salt.
I would highly recommend In-Pursuit if you're in the market for a clean, top notch vehicle. The cars they refurbish is the cream of the crop, compared to the buckets I saw at a State of Ca. public auction. Those current body styled CVPIs were in bad shape with soiled seats, dents and scratches, and spray painted doors that sold for $5k or so.
The car I received was in excellent condition inside and out, which ran perfectly and continues to do so after 3K miles. The cars are used, so they're not perfect but after some detailing and window tint the car is awesome and gets so much attention. I've had no issues to date, and everything electrical works likes new, and the paint job is high quality. If you have the means to complete the financial transaction according to they're terms, I strongly suggest serious consideration in purchasing from In-Pursuit.

I don't doubt in-pursuit's ability to bring a CVPI from regular police black and white to show car style. Their expertise and hard work are evident in the pictures of their cars, as well as their high seller rating. Personally however, I think that their cars are too expensive. Notice that I did not say overpriced. I see their prices as fair, but the cars have so many miles on them. I don't know if the car would be worth it for me. So, bottom line, I am asking to see if the cars are reliable. You said that you haven't had any problems since you bought it, but you also only had it for 3,000 miles. I am glad that you found such a good car. Let me know how it holds up in the long run. Thanks.
