i don't like magnaflow unless you have header, my brother has a 95 t/a lt1 with catback magnaflow and i hate it cuz it does not have headers and it is to quiet and pops alot.

I heard one LT1 with a magnaflow catback and it sounded beautiful and then I heard another and it sounded like a series of terrible pops and bangs..is that the tin popping noise? That goes away after a while? I'm thinking of buying one just for kicks, not driving for 6 months left me with some coin.

My flowmaster did the popping thing, this one does not... I like this better. When I get headers I will like it even more...

here are the two i have, one of them my friend is all, " Want me to rev it more" so its not just the car and the second one is just idle. I took these with my phone so it is not the best...

Hard to say with you living in Oregon.

Some shop that can edit your computer obviously.
Or even a mail order tune from TSP or like shop.

how about one of the programers I can buy form a auto shop?

I wouldn't know where to start when it comes to tuning a car.

Takes some serious learning. But if you want to, you can do it.

Programmers... a good one is HPTuners however it takes a lot of learning and also 500 bucks

Stuff liek hypertech power programmer don't waste your time/money on

I'd check the HPTuners forums to see if you can find anyone nearby and if not I hear good things about both TSP and PCM4Less mail order tunes.

I should post a clip of my buddies 98 z with lt's and slp loudmouth resonator only. No cats. It sounds like a friggin stock car when he gets on it. Gives me goose bumps everytime I ride in that car.... :)

I ditched my Loudmouth once I had LT's on it. Sounded like poo.
WAY too raspy.
It was loud though.

Any thing......almost, sounds good on the Z's......

Well next is long tube headers. Should go on end of april, I hope. I have to get my output shaft fixed on my tranny. that is going to cost 900 dollars. I hope bubba has some KY for me when I bend over for that one... I am also getting a tune up since that is about 28k past due. I will take pics and better vids. Got a new camera over the weekend, Nikon L2...
