Is it possible to convert a cavy into a hard top converti like the honda del sols? I've had the idea for awhile and I really want to do it, I know there would have to be cutting and welding, can i even buy the parts nessessary for this? I dont know much at all about this so any info on this would be cool, thanks.

It would involve a ton of reinforcement, since chopping the top off a unibody car is a considerably difficult task.

I'm starting to think this isn't possible, I've searched for del sol, supra, and rx7 replacement parts and can't find anything. Does anybody know any websites that have convertible replacment parts or something?

Why not start with a convertible and add a coupe roof to it?

I don't want one bad enough to buy a whole new car lol i'd settle for a plain sun/moon roof in that case
