Manual states change at 100,000 miles. Do you folks really wait that long?.I have 48K on my Rodeo...time to change?

When my IMG's went, my mechanic first recommended changing the plugs. This was at ~70,000miles. If they got the IMG diognosis correct at first, those original plugs would still be in there. These plugs last a long time and if you have no problems, leave them in there.

Unless you have a problem, leave them. I'd go to at least 60-70k with what you have.

I'd pull, inspect, never-seize the threads, silicone grease the boots and reinstall before 50Kmi. You will probably pull the aluminum cylinder head threads out with the steel sparkplugs if you leave them in until 100K. It suxs getting the boots out of the plug wells. Slap some silicone grease on the connector end of the plug and they will pop right out the next time.

the will perform very well up untill about 60,000 miles preformance will go down and so will fuel economy but not too bad I normally reccomend replacing them at 70,000 miles if you do it youself buy the correct plugs.
DO NOT USE BOSH PLUGS IN THESE RODEOS or you will end up replacing them again or worse spending about $1,600 on CAT replacment.
