What sub and box will work for a single cab?xjedix 03-27-2006, 09:10 PM I am looking to install a system in my 2000 single cab chevy. What sub boxes will fit behind the seat? I would like to get a 10" or 12" sub but there is not much room to work with. If anyone here has a single cab setup like this please let me know what brand sub and sub enclosure you have. Thanks for any help! -Derek onehate02 03-27-2006, 10:20 PM this calls for jeverret jeverett 03-28-2006, 02:50 PM Here ya go dude. These are a few shots of my setup, all handmade. We took the measurements and kinda copied a design by probox which fit very well. The subs are Bostwick HDX dual voice coils 12" and I fit 2 back there. The amp is a Bostwick 500.1 class D mono. The enclosure like I said above was handmade using 3/4" MDF. Sorry about the big pics. I'll fix them. http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a342/jceverett/amprack.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a342/jceverett/box.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a342/jceverett/systemwhile.jpg Simmons-Racing 03-31-2006, 12:24 PM Nice job, I was thinking of using 2 10" JL Subs and my JL E1200 amp. Plus I have JL 6" seperates in the front and 4x6 PPI in the rear with a Phoenix Gold 4 x 75 amp. What do you think? jeverett 04-03-2006, 10:55 AM I say go for it. I love JL stuff, and i was actually in the process of removing the 12's and putting 10's in there when I sold the truck. 10's seemed to sound almost identical, but left me with more room. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
