www.scalemotorsport.com has the best in my opinion. Most online shops carry his products.

Go straight to scalemotorsport and order from them. I have been using them for many years and the best cf decal out there. The online ordering is simple and very quick shipments.

As the others said, I love the Scale Motorsport Decals.

S27 decals are also great, but SMS are cheaper. go for them.

The SMS Hi-def can't be beat for modern CF used on the ubiquitous CF hood.

your are now treading into the "do a search" territory. but x-22 or Gunze clear are the safest as they are acrylics but people have had success with all different types of clear.

I used Testors #2936 clear on that hood; it was allowed to dry for about 2 weeks or so.

Learned the hard way with my Porsche GT1 full carbon :(

The safest is Gunze clear. I used it on my two models, no problems. Even if I tried to wet coat it the first time, it doesn't do anything to the decals.

Having said that, make sure that the decals are allowed to completely dry for at least 3 days or a week to be safe.

SMS as well. though i haven't gotten one, but planning to do so. if i mess up teh Z-Tune's paintjob, i'll do it in wet CF instead.

I used Gunze clear on my Puma EVO 7, then put it aside until later, wrapping it in a washcloth. I'm not sure if the cloth was cotton or acrylic, but it ruined my paintjob. Is this something that happens with all acryl clears, or just gunze? I need a good, durable clear to go over decals. Tonio, is your Testors clear enamel?

Sure is! It ain't that bad if you have the patience to wait for a really hard surface suitable for a polishing kit.:)
